The scientific conference took place during the Open Day. Among the guests was Mr.
Erwin ȘIMȘENSOHN, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Culture and National Identity, Mrs. Diana SĂCĂREA, EEA and Norway Grants Officer at the Norwegian Embassy in Bucharest, Mrs. Monica DRĂGAN, Program Manager, Project Management Unit (UMP) within the Ministry of Culture and National Identity, Mrs. Hanna DERER, chairman of the National Commission for Historical Monuments (CNMI), Mr. Audun ENGH, member of the INTBAU Board of Directors, the representative of the Norwegian partner. The local authorities were represented by Mr Róbert GRÜMAN, Vice-President of the Covasna County Council and Mayor of Baraolt Mr. Barna LÁZÁR KISS. The history of the castle and its rehabilitation were presented by art historian Mr. János FEHÉR, art historian Mrs. Imola MAGYARÓSI and art historian Mrs. Réka VÁRALLYAY. During the event the “DOMOKOS GÉZA” award was offered to the Kálnoky Foundation.
